The best time to visit Belfast
Belfast is a great city to visit all year round. If you’re looking for warm, sunny weather and a lively atmosphere, we recommend visiting in the summer months from June to September. July is the hottest month with temperatures averaging 15°C.
Alternatively, visit between March and May. Spring is a great time to spot wildlife and enjoy coastal walks. On the 17th March the city comes alive with celebrations and parades for St Patrick's Day.
If you can brave the cold, the winter period is also a lovely time to visit, with a number of firelit, cosy cafes and pubs to take refuge.
